The Asana toolkit provides Arcade tools that enable LLMs to interact with Asana's project management platform. It covers task management, project and workspace navigation, team and user lookups, tagging, and file attachments.
Capabilities
- Task lifecycle: Create, retrieve, update, and search tasks; list and retrieve subtasks; attach files to tasks via raw text, base64-encoded binary, or external URL.
- Project & workspace navigation: List and retrieve projects and workspaces visible to the authenticated user.
- Teams & users: List all teams in a workspace, list teams the current user belongs to, retrieve individual teams and users, and list workspace members.
- Tags: Create, retrieve, and list tags within a workspace.
- Contextual task association: Task creation automatically resolves workspace context — single-workspace accounts default automatically; multi-workspace accounts receive an actionable error listing available workspaces.
OAuth
Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 via the Asana provider. See the Arcade Asana auth provider docs for configuration details.
